About Arbitration Association 25

Russian Arbitration Association 25 was founded in August 2014 in Moscow and is part of the Russian Arbitration Association.

The goal of RAA25 is to promote arbitration among young experts and to afford them an opportunity to deepen their knowledge and improve their skills.

RAA25’s founding members are yesterday’s law school graduates from leading Russian universities who joined forces to support youth interested in arbitration by focusing on the following areas: lectures, seminars, master classes conducted by leading Russian and foreign experts, cooperation with Russian and foreign universities, disseminating information about study tours in the area of international arbitration, cooperation with leading law firms and disseminating information about their open vacancies, provision of information about international arbitration competitions for students, assisting international arbitration and arbitral proceedings professors in devising their curricula.

Conferences, Seminars and Master-classes
The Arbitration Association 25 organizes various events on issues of international arbitration, as well as participates in events organized by the Arbitration Association.

Conferences arranged by the Arbitration Association 25 are held within the walls of Russian universities and offices of the major law firms and also online. Participation in these events allows a person to deepen one's knowledge in the field of international arbitration and opens up opportunities for meeting and communicating with like-minded people.
The Arbitration Association's Online Arbitration Competition

The Arbitration Association Competition is an annual student competition in the format of a moot–court. The purpose of the Competition is to teach students practical skills in conducting business in arbitration proceedings. Dozens of teams and referees from all over Russia and CIS countries take part in the Competition every year.

The Arbitration Association's competition is unique in that it is held in two stages: online rounds (via videoconference) and oral hearings (in Moscow). Thanks to the online format, teams and referees from anywhere in the world can participate in the Competition.

LLM Programs 
The Arbitration Association 25 offers an information collection on training programs in the field of international arbitration, publishes interviews with recognized experts in the field of arbitration who have been trained in LLM programs

Cooperation with Law Firms

RAA25 cooperates with leading Russian law firms and organizes Open Days in such.

As part of the Open Days, visitors can:

- get acquainted with the office of the law firm;

- listen to partners, senior lawyers, junior lawyers, interns about their work experience in the practice of dispute resolution and international commercial arbitration;

- ask questions of interest;

- learn about internship and work opportunities in the company.

RAA25 organizes networking events in Russia and abroad for young professionals in the field of international commercial arbitration.
