Mikhail Lastovskiy is the Head of Kroll’s Russia & CIS Financial Investigations practice, based in the Moscow office. Mikhail is a Certified Fraud Examiner (ACFE) since 2009. He specialises in cross-border fraud, corruption and cyber investigations, fraud risk assessments and dispute advisory. Mikhail’s professional career spans over 15 years and includes a broad range of investigative experience in forensic accounting, fraud related interviewing, computer forensics, e-discovery, data analytics, and forensic accounting and auditing. His clients include large multinationals, financial institutions, governments and law firms across the world. Before joining Kroll in 2015, Mikhail was a Director in KPMG’s Forensic Practice, where he oversaw investigations in Russia and the CIS region. Prior to that, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers US (New York) and Russia (Moscow) for seven years. Mikhail has completed specialized training program in fraud related interviewing (in the U.S.) and obtained relevant certifications. He has many years of in-depth practical expertise in conducting fraud related interviews across different countries and regions.
