On 31 March, the 4th edition of the African Arbitration & Mediation Day (JAAM) will take place, dedicated this year to the theme “The Mediation Agreement and the Arbitral Award.”
I will be taking part remotely during the second session devoted to enforcement issues, with a presentation on “The Enforcement of Decisions Arising from the Various Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms.”
The event will bring together numerous practitioners and academics in Yaoundé — including
Anna Joubin-Bret,
Roman Zykov,
Sébastien Manciaux and
Dominique Hascher — to discuss issues relating to the drafting and enforcement of mediation agreements, as well as questions surrounding arbitral awards and their circulation, particularly within the
OHADA framework and beyond.
