Darren is a Cyprus and UK licensed Insolvency Practitioner and is based in Cyprus.
He leads the Cyprus office for Begbies Traynor, as well as working closely with its BVI office. Darren takes insolvency appointments in Cyprus as well as jointly with colleagues in; BVI, Jersey and the UK.
His work is multi-jurisdictional, undertaking court-appointed receiverships and liquidations, many of which have included asset-tracing and forensic components to recover assets.
Such appointments have encompassed regions including; BVI, Cyprus, Russia, CIS, Hong Kong, China and Singapore.
Darren was recently appointed Liquidator of a BVI company connected to a Singapore nickel trading fraud of US$900m. He was also historically appointed as Liquidator by the BVI court over Mossack Fonseca, infamous following the “Panama Papers” breach.
