Richard is a BVI lawyer based in Carey Olsen’s London office. His practice focusses on international insolvency, fraud and asset recovery as well as shareholder disputes and contentious trust matters. Much of his work relates to individuals and businesses in Ukraine, Russia and other CIS countries. He has a wealth of experience of both pre-action measures such as freezing injunctions and third party disclosure applications, as well as conducting cases through to trial and enforcement.
Richard is a solicitor advocate and has successfully represented clients as advocate in matters before both the BVI Commercial Court and the Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal.
Richard is a member of the Insolvency Lawyers Association, R3, INSOL, RISA, and the Commercial Fraud Lawyers' Association.
