Izabella is an associate in our BVI dispute resolution and insolvency team based in our London office. She has experience advising in a broad range of complex and multijurisdictional litigation and arbitration cases across several sectors, including energy and natural resources, large scale infrastructure, automobile, technology and banking.
Izabella has significant commercial, investment and sports arbitration experience in France, Switzerland and the UK. She has been involved in litigation in the high courts of England, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, France, and Switzerland. Izabella has also participated in white collar fraud trials and investigations.
Izabella trained with the International Chamber of Commerce and Hogan Lovells in Moscow and Paris and worked at Three Crowns' Paris office before joining the team at Carey Olsen. She has also worked for part of Quinn Emanuel.
Izabella has lived and practised in Russia, Paris and the British Virgin Islands. She is admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales and is an Attorney-at-Law in the state of New York. Izabella was admitted as a legal practitioner in the British Virgin Islands in 2021. She is also a Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI) accredited mediator.
Izabella graduated as a Bachelor of Jurisprudence from the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, studied at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (Germany) and obtained an LL.M. with honors from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in Chicago.
Izabella speaks English, Russian and German fluently and has a working proficiency in Ukrainian, Belorussian and French.
