RCAN: Russian Disputes in London - for how long? 27 November 2013. London

27.11.2013

Russia is introducing fundamental reforms to its legislation to attract “domestic affairs” back to Russian courts. Please join us for a discussion aimed to answer the question – Will parties be more likely to adopt newly liberalised Russian law / jurisdiction clauses in their agreements or will a lack of confidence in the Russian judicial system will continue to anchor Russian disputes to London’s shores?

The event is chaired by Vladimir Khvalei, partner at Baker McKenzie (Moscow), Kirill Saskov, Head of Corporate and Dispute Resolution at Kachkin and Partners (St. Petersburg), Tatiana Minaeva, partner at Stephenson Harwood (London), Nick Marsh, partner at DLA Piper (London), Charles Béar QC, Fountain Court Chambers (London) and Keisha Williams, LCIA (London).
