Khawar Qureshi KC  is the Head of McNair International and has acted for or against more than 60 states on complex international disputes including the USA, Russian Federation, Argentina, India, Kenya. From 1999 to 2006 he was a UK 'A' Panel Treasury Counsel with the highest level of security clearance advising on and undertaking hundreds of high profile and sensitive cases for the UK Government (including for the Bank of England and HM Treasury on sanctions issues), before being one of the youngest to take Silk in 2006.

He has taught financial services law at Cambridge University, Commercial law at King's College and Public International Law at the LSE/King's College London. He was appointed a Visiting Professor in Commercial law at London University in 2008.
