Ryan Bull is a partner in the International Dispute Resolution group at Baker Botts L.L.P.  He is based in Washington D.C.  

For over 17 years, Ryan has been assisting clients resolve a wide range of complex international disputes.  Ryan has acted as first and second chair counsel in commercial and investment disputes on behalf of major U.S., Russian, Chinese, French and Korean companies before the ICC, SCC, ICDR, PCA, and AAA.  In addition, he has prosecuted and defended claims raising a wide range of international and commercial legal issues in U.S. trial and appellate courts, including numerous actions involving enforcement of foreign arbitration awards and judgments in the United States.  Ryan has managed similar litigation issues in 15 other countries.  

Ryan routinely counsels clients on internationals disputes issues in connection with large transactions, including dispute resolution planning and strategy.  He has also overseen international investigations into potential violations of U.S. anti-corruption and ant-trust laws and coordinated such investigations with the U.S. Department of Justice.  

Ryan holds a JD from the University of Texas School of Law and a BA in History and Russian from Vanderbilt University.  He is a member of the District of Columbia and Texas bars, and is admitted to practice before numerous U.S. federal courts.  After graduation from law school, Mr. Bull served as a law clerk to the Honorable Fortunato P. Benavides of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
