Following on from the success of the Legal Week Commercial Litigation Forum 2013, chaired by the esteemed Hilton Mervis, I am delighted to announce that this year we launch the Legal Week Commercial Litigation and Arbitration Forum. Reflecting on-going market trends and developments, the inclusion of arbitration as an additional focus at this already hugely popular event will give delegates an even greater understanding of dispute resolution trends and developments.

The programme for this event is always led by vigorous market reseach and developed through thorough consultation with experienced and influential industry figures. This year is no exception, with the Advisory Board, chaired by Hilton Mervis, featuring some of the leading practitioners in the City, as well as in-house counsel from the biggest global companies. Another key component of this event is the opportunity to network with the many different delegates that attend. From general counsel to Law Lords, the Commercial Litigation and Arbitration Forum attracts delegates from all walks of dispute resolution life. As well as regular coffee and networking breaks throughout the day, there will be the opportunity to catch up with peers and make new contacts at our end-of-forum drinks reception.
Last year, Lord Hoffman opened the forum with his thoughts on the Competitive Advantages of English Commercial Law. I am delighted to announce that this year's opening keynote address will be delivered by The Rt Hon the Lady Justice Gloster, and our afternoon plenary will be delivered by Gary Born, Partner and Chair, International Arbitration Practice Group, WilmerHale.
