RAA Awards 2020

It took 5 months from the idea to the award ceremony. The symbol of the award was created, first five nominations were determined:

the council of independent experts was established, applications from nominees were collected, applications were processed, the independent open Internet voting was held, votes were counted, awards were made, and the ceremony was organized.

The RAA Awards are associated with words such as height, achievement, independence, objectivity, individuality, and recognition.

The first association is the top! Therefore, our glass awards are made in the form of a peak of the rock with a piece from The Digest: "Suum cuique tribuere".

 

Career breakthrough

The list included candidates that were promoted in the period from September 25, 2019 to September 25, 2020, both in law firms operating in the Russian Federation and foreign companies focused on working with Russia.

Six professionals were announced in the "Career Breakthrough of the Year" nomination:

• Natalia Gulyaeva. Appointed Managing Partner of the Moscow office of the international law firm Hogan Lovells.

• Dmitry Dyakin. Rybalkin, Gortsunyan & Partners opened an arbitration practice under the leadership of partner Dmitry Dyakin.

• Olga Tsvetkova. Appointed Deputy Director of the Department of International Law and Cooperation, Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.

• Andrey Gorlenko. Moved to Ivanyan & Partners as a partner.

• Sergey Morozov. Started working as an Advisor to the International Center for Legal Defense.

• Beyzhu Vasani. Joined the Ivanyan & Partners team as a partner and head of the international arbitration practice.
