In 1990 Valery Sidnev entered the law faculty of the Baku State University and in 1995 graduated with law degree.
Professional experience
From 1995 to 1999 Valery Sidnev worked as a lawyer in various consulting firms involved in preparation and implementation of World Bank projects for the development of legislation, as well as projects under the TACIS program of the European Union, Russia and CIS.
From February 1999 to February 2006 Valery Sydney was a lawyer in a leading international law firm Baker Botts LLP, in Baku and Moscow offices. In these years Valery Sidnev specialized in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, public-private partnerships and provides legal services to leading Russian and international companies in the energy and oil and gas sectors and represented the interests of leading international financial institutions on issues of equity and debt financing in Russia and CIS countries.
From 2006 to 2007 worked as a lawyer in "Rusal".
From 2007 to 2009 he was a head of support of financial and M & A transactions group in SUEK.
In 2009 was a head of corporate practice of law firm VEGAS-LEX.
From August 2009 to the present time is the head of legal department of "EuroChem".
From 2010 to the present time Valery is a member of the board of directors of fertilizer producer "Nevinnomyssky nitrogen" and member of the board of "AB Lifosa" (Lithuania).
