Thabiso van den Bosch is one of the founding partners of Conway. His legal career focuses on complex litigation as well as domestic and international arbitration both in the construction and offshore industry as well as the trade sector, amongst others regarding the construction of industrial plants, land reclamation projects, the sale of factories, as well as a variety of commercial disputes such as concerning the design and manufacturing of industrial machinery, industrial processes, new technologies as well as a variety of other commercial disputes. He is also involved in the drafting of contracts in these areas.
Mr. Van den Bosch’ practice also includes providing general business advice to clients including strategic advice aimed at avoiding corporate disputes. Furthermore, he has ample experience in corporate litigation procedures concerning shareholder and joint venture disputes, disputes in the board as well as between different bodies of a company. He has an extensive trial experience in corporate disputes before the domestic courts (including the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeals), as well as in domestic and international arbitration (NAI, ICC).
He has participated in a legal working group of the Netherlands Foundation for the Defense Industry and Security (NIDV) with respect to the assessment and renegotiation of general conditions for the purchase of goods and services applied by the Ministry of Defense. Furthermore, he also participates in the New Services Solutions Group of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD). Moreover, he is also active in the field of mediation. He participates in the legal committee as well as a working group of the Netherlands Mediation Institute (now renamed into Netherlands Federation for Mediators), the latter concerning the implementation of the EU mediation directive in the Netherlands. Furthermore, he is also an editor of the Dutch-Flemish Journal on Mediation and Dispute Management. He is one of the founders and the secretary of the Netherlands’ Chapter of the Club Español de Arbitraje.
