SERGEY PETRACHKOV is an ALRUD Law Firm Partner, heading its Dispute Resolution and Restructuring/Insolvency Groups. Sergey has a considerable experience in representing clients in complex business and corporate disputes before state courts. He takes part in restructuring matters and insolvency proceedings, including advising and litigation in respect of dissipation of assets, claw- back actions and recovery of damages from management and shareholders of the debtor. Sergey often acts in arbitration proceedings, under the rules of the leading Russian and foreign arbitration institutions (ICC, LCIA, SCC, etc.). He also has an extensive practical knowledge learned in his participation in arbitration-related matters and matters involving the recognition and enforcement of court judgements (including bankruptcy judgements). Sergey graduated from The National Research University Higher School of Economics, Law Department in 2008, followed by earning his Ph.D. in Law (2012).
