Sergey Morozov is Senior Counsel at the International Centre for Legal Protection, a task force created to defend the Russian Federation's interests in international arbitrations and court proceedings abroad.
Sergey has 10+ years of experience in complex cross-border dispute resolution in international commercial and investment arbitration and mediation. He represented state clients and private parties in arbitral proceedings (UNCITRAL, ICC, SCC, ICAC, RAC, Swiss Rules and others) and before state courts (Canada, France, Germany, India, Netherlands, Russia, Spain, UK, USA), acted as arbitrator, and coordinated top-notch legal teams in multi-jurisdictional disputes. Sergey is the RAA40 Co-Chair. Sergey is admitted to practice in Russia and New York.
Sergey graduated with honors from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Law, and obtained an LL.M. degree in international commercial arbitration from Pepperdine University School of Law (USA, CA). He also studied at the International Academy for Arbitration Law in Paris. Prior to joining ICLP in 2019, Sergey worked at the international law firm Beiten Burkhardt in Moscow and as Foreign Associate at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP in Washington, D.C.
