Peter Wolrich is a Partner in the Paris office of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP and is Co-Chair of Curtis’ International Arbitration Practice. He is a leading International Arbitration lawyer and acts as Counsel for claimants and respondents, Chairman of Arbitral Tribunals, Sole Arbitrator or Co-Arbitrator in connection with ICC, ICSID, SCC, LCIA, NIA, Swiss and ad hoc arbitrations, with disputed amounts up to US $ 11 billion. His experience includes both treaty/investor and commercial arbitration. Mr. Wolrich served for 12 years as the Chairman of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR. He was a principal draftsman of the 2012 revisions to the ICC Rules of Arbitration, the ICC Mediation Rules, the ICC Expert Rules and the ICC Dispute Board Rules. Mr. Wolrich also served as a member of the English drafting team for the 2018 revisions of the DIS Arbitration Rules. Mr. Wolrich has lectured at major universities, and at prominent conferences throughout the world. He regularly authors articles on dispute resolution. He has been decorated as Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur by the French government.
